Harmony & Bob’s Laid-Back Solstice Celebration at Chapel in the Hollow If you’ve ever imagined a calm, carefree micro wedding tucked in the mountains, Harmony and Bob’s joyful day at Chapel in the Hollow fits the vision perfectly. Their summer solstice wedding, bathed in golden Tennessee sunshine, was everything a relaxed, heartfelt celebration should be and we were lucky to witness it all. Sunflowers, Simplicity & Summer Vibes They chose a classic look: soft white draping across the outdoor chapel and our signature sunflower arrangements brought a cheerful, rustic energy that fit the warm weather like a glove. In a sweet DIY twist, Harmony made her own bouquet using sunflowers and red roses a bright, love-filled combo that perfectly reflected her sunny personality and joyful spirit. Looking for inspiration that’s colorful and true to you without the stress? Harmony nailed it. Her approach was all charm and ease.

The Bride Sparkled Literally in HEYDUDEs Harmony shined in a strapless gown with a layered skirt from David’s Bridal, but it was her sparkling HEYDUDE shoes that really made a statement comfy, cute, and totally her. Bob kept things classy and cool in dark blue slacks, a crisp white button-down, and a matching vest from Men’s Wearhouse. The outfit paired perfectly with the color scheme and let his emotions speak louder than any fashion choice. When Harmony made her way down the aisle with her mom by her side, Bob couldn’t hold back the tears — a deeply touching moment that summed up the whole day: raw, real, and filled with love. Wandering Through the Woods in the Golden Light After their sweet ceremony, officiated by Ian Parrott, and a few joyful family photos, we took a walk through the woods with the newlyweds to capture their portraits. We made stops at all the favorite spots around the venue: The Chapel in the Hollow sign The forest trail Our vintage truck And those magical, sunlit woodland paths

From the Bride: He was my best friends brother, we both had just started going through a divorce, his sister called me one night to ask me if she could give him my phone number, I said yes. He called and asked if he could take me out, I agreed to go out just as friends. Our first date wasn’t even a date technically, we were going out as friends. We decided to go to a local bar because they had a good band playing. My cousin ended up being there, Bob offered to take him home because he had been drinking and Bob only had a couple over the course of a few hours. This is when I knew that I could be in trouble. We took my cousin home and then went back to Bob’s mom’s house, where my car was. We ended up sitting his truck all night talking. He was a complete gentleman and this spoke volumes. I hurried home to change and get ready to go to work. He proposed. It was Christmas Day, when we all had finished opening gifts, he acted like he was going to pick up the wrapping paper and then he turned around and asked. We chose East Tennessee because this is where we took our first vacation and then the place we ran to for the Christmas after our daughter passes. There is just something magical about it. On our wedding day I am most looking forward to the first look! We love to spend time at the drag way, we snowmobile in the winter, Bob runs a business, I do all the bookkeeping. Our favorite thing to collect is memories and magnets from each place that we visit. We love to travel.
