When it comes to weddings, simplicity often holds the most beauty. Chelsea and Lee’s intimate forest micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow was a beautiful showcase of how emotional depth, natural elegance, and intentional minimalism can create something truly unforgettable. Held on a warm, misty afternoon in late spring in the Smoky Mountains, their celebration was rich with feeling, loved ones, and the kind of meaningful details that leave a lasting impression. If you’ve been envisioning a quiet, heartfelt ceremony in the woods, consider this your sign. A Gentle, Romantic Ceremony Among the Trees To enhance the forest backdrop, Chelsea and Lee selected draping in soft dusty sage and cream, accented with our signature boho florals. The palette gave the space an organic, earthy feel that flowed naturally with the wooded setting. It was a peaceful and elegant choice for couples who want their aesthetic to harmonize with the environment. The entire setting felt like a tender woodland fairytale — personal, understated, and deeply moving. A Bride with Poise and Heart Chelsea chose a gorgeous AZAZIE gown with delicate spaghetti straps, a low back, and a cascading, layered train that floated behind her with grace. Her look was effortlessly refined, exuding calm confidence. Her sister lovingly helped her get ready — a touching moment filled with connection — and Chelsea also honored the memory of another sister by including her photos in the celebration. She created a charming cake table featuring a single-tier cake — a simple yet sweet way to mark the occasion with intention. Every detail was thoughtfully selected, and it was felt in every moment. A Groom with Heart and a Ceremony Rooted in Family Lee’s outfit featured tan dress pants with a matching vest, a crisp white shirt, and a dusty blue bowtie, striking a balance between laid-back and polished. His gentle smile and easy presence made the ceremony all the more intimate. Chelsea’s children walked down the aisle just before her, adding a tender layer of meaning to the moment. When Lee caught sight of her for the first time, his expression said it all — this was a moment that mattered deeply. They shared personal vows under the trees, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Their words were raw and full of emotion, the kind of promises that reflect the heart of a truly intimate wedding. Peaceful Light and Dreamy Portraits After a round of family portraits near the chapel, we made our way to the highland meadow for a few quiet moments with just the couple. The soft spring light filtered through the trees, casting a warm, romantic glow. But the highlight came unexpectedly — as we walked back, Chelsea stepped into a shaft of golden sunlight, and the way it lit her up was pure magic. Naturally, we paused to capture it. Star Noir Studio photographed every detail with an artistic eye, while Yugen Productions created a film that will let them revisit this day’s beauty and emotion for years to come.

From the Bride We have a typical girl meets boy on Bumble love story. We instantly clicked and never wanted to be without each other. We went to see Spider Man No Way Home. Lee said he didn’t want any popcorn then continued to eat all of the popcorn. ALL of it… Lee proposed at a gazebo in our favorite park by the pier near our home. We went for a late night walk before he took me to stand under the gazebo and got on one knee. We wanted a beautiful outdoor wedding where we could enjoy time with our family and East Tennessee was the perfect fit. We are looking forward to finally saying I do of course! For fun we watch movies, listen to music, go for walks.
