Shelby and Brady tied the knot at Chapel in the Hollow with a laid-back, love-filled micro wedding that embraced all the beauty of spring in the Smoky Mountains. The soft hum of cicadas and the vibrant East Tennessee greenery created the perfect backdrop for their special day.
They dressed the chapel in flowing dusty sage and lavender drapery, accented by succulent-inspired florals and delicate lavender wreaths for a gentle, romantic touch. Shelby was radiant in a white gown with beaded straps and a lace train that trailed gracefully behind her. Her half-up hairstyle, adorned with a sparkling jeweled hairpiece, added just the right hint of glamour.
Brady opted for a cool, classic look with khaki slacks, a crisp white shirt, and dusty sage suspenders and bowtie—effortlessly relaxed and stylish.
Family was woven into every moment—Shelby’s mother helped her get ready and walked her down the aisle, one sister provided music, and another fluffed her train to perfection.
They brought a sweet little cake to share later, and after their heartfelt ceremony and group portraits, we wandered the property for couple photos—at the wooded path, the vintage truck, and the open field with stunning mountain views.
Afterward, they headed off to LeConte for a cozy celebration dinner and the beginning of their next adventure together.
Big congrats to Shelby and Brady! Here's to a lifetime full of laughter, love, and unforgettable Smoky Mountain memories.
From the Bride
We met through social media. I had known people in his family for years and never knew or met him. We were friends on Facebook and in 2020 he reached out first when I posted I needed help with my suv. After meeting we continued hanging out and 5 years later, we’re here! Our first date was in the comfort of my home, I tend to be a shy person when I first meet someone. He brought his guitar over and played for me for hours and I knew then that he was going to be my person.
He proposed. We talked about marriage a few times throwing the idea around a bit. Next thing I know he asked me to marry him, and was bound determined to prove that was what he wanted & that was all I needed! Gatlinburg is the first vacation we ever took together, and the most fun we’ve ever had on a vacation is always in Tennessee. We love the mountains. Our son’s name is Gatlin, so Tennessee is very sentimental and has a lot of meaning to us. We knew it was the perfect place to begin our married lives together with a relaxed spring micro wedding. We can’t wait to finally getting to put forever on our story. I’m looking forward to marrying my best friend and getting to celebrate with some of our family as well.
5 has always seemed to be our number, and this last year proved that to us so we decided that would be it. We have 5 kids between the both of us and 2025 is our 5 year of knowing one another and when we first started dating. We enjoy golfing together, going to concerts/events and relaxing at home together any chance we can.
