A Cozy Smoky Mountain Celebration: Nicole & Tim’s Micro Wedding at Chapel in the Hollow

Tucked away in the heart of the Smokies, Nicole and Tim celebrated their love with an intimate and heartfelt micro wedding at Chapel in the Hollow. Every detail of their day spoke to who they are as a couple—thoughtful, nature-loving, and joyfully down-to-earth.

Their design choices were rich and intentional, blending hunter green and rust-toned textures to create a serene, woodsy atmosphere. The aisle was lined with succulent florals and hanging glass jars, adding soft, organic touches to the ceremony space.

Guests were treated to charming and personal details, including a tree bark-inspired cake and a nostalgic rotary phone guest book, where loved ones recorded voice messages for the newlyweds. It was the perfect blend of modern romance and vintage charm.

Nicole stunned in a beaded illusion gown with scalloped edges, paired with a lace-edged veil and her grandmother’s heirloom necklace. Her mother and mother-in-law lovingly helped her prepare, bringing warmth and meaning to those pre-ceremony moments.

Tim’s look was relaxed yet stylish—jeans paired with a textured brown vest—and his boutonnière perfectly echoed Nicole’s bouquet of dried flowers and feathers. A deeply emotional first look with Nicole’s father in the bridal suite was one of many unforgettable highlights.

Their ceremony was filled with laughter, tears, and sincere vows that honored both their shared memories and hopes for the future. With rings blessed by their siblings, the ceremony carried a powerful sense of family and connection.

Afterward, the celebration continued with family portraits, cake cutting, and cupcakes, followed by the couple's first dance surrounded by the people they love. Before heading off to their reception at Dancing Bear Lodge, they stole a few golden-hour moments in a nearby field of blue blooms, resulting in some truly breathtaking portraits.
