Brianna & Jacob

Brianna and Jacob traveled from Wisconsin with their closest family and friends to celebrate their wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains. They chose A King’s Lodge in Wears Valley TN, tucked right at the base of the park, and it was the perfect backdrop for their kind of day. It was simple, family-centered, and full of love that felt genuine and easy. The weather had its own personality. The morning started bright, the ceremony happened in the sun, clouds drifted in later, and by evening the rain paid a visit. Instead of slowing things down, it gave everyone another reason to laugh, grab a drink, and keep the celebration going. One of the moments worth remembering is when the "flower guy" walked the aisle handing out cold Coors instead of tossing petals. It was the perfect prequel to an amazing ceremony and set the tone for the rest of the day. Nothing about this wedding felt staged or overdone. It felt true to Brianna and Jacob, who deeply value their love with each other as well as with their people than about following tradition. When the rain finally arrived, nobody ran inside. The music played under the pavilion, and the dance floor came alive. Guests kicked off their shoes, couples twirled, and kids ran between tables. It turned into the kind of party that only happens when the weather, the people, and the couple all lean into the moment together. That real authentic type love that we hold so dear to our hearts. Brianna and Jacob are the kind of people who make everyone feel welcome. They brought their family’s warmth and kindness to the mountains, and their wedding was a reflection of that spirit.
